The second webinar of the 2021 series by Dr. Vasileios Papapostolou and Dr. Andrea Polidori from the South Coast Air Quality Management District’s (South Coast AQMD; www.aqmd.gov) Air Quality Sensor Performance Evaluation Center (AQ-SPEC; www.aqmd.gov/aq-spec) in California. Vasileios is the AQ-SPEC Program Supervisor and Andrea the Advanced Monitoring Technologies Manager. AQ-SPEC was established to provide the public with unbiased performance information for commercially available low-cost air-quality sensors (<$2000 USD). This excellent presentation covered AQ-SPEC’s background and operations, low-cost sensor data management, deployments, and resources for sensor projects.
